What is net price — and why isn't it the number on the letter?
Is it money or a bill?
Net price is what you pay — after subtracting gift aid only.
Your true net price is the cost of attendance minus gift aid (grants and scholarships) only. Many letters show a lower 'net cost' by subtracting loans too — but loans are money you repay with interest, so counting them makes the offer look better than it is.
Per year vs. per semester: Net price is a per-year number. Multiply by four (and expect increases) for the real total.
